Sites bar contains your most useful & preferred links. By one click only, you navigate to your favorite site. This works the same way as "Links" in the Internet Explorer.

You can even import your links from the Internet Explorer by right-clicking the toolbar and selecting "Import Internet Explorer links". You can customize the links as you may need very easily by selecting "Customize Sites toolbar".
